Best chewy Brownies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (but not wet batter).- Be careful not to overbake, as this will ensure your brownies remain chewy.
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment overhang. Cut into squares and serve
